Linda Foster

Linda Foster has charmed audiences for years with her beautiful, clear, lyrical voice. A versatile singer, she shines while performing, whether it is in live concerts of American song, radio concerts of classical duets or stage productions of musical theatre. Her voice is a mix of lyrically beautiful tone, great range and versatile color. Her keen and sensitive ability to connect with the poetry and text in the songs she chooses immediately connects her listening audience to the emotional experience.

Linda began singing at a very early age. In fact, her mother swears she began singing immediately upon returning from viewing The Sound of Music in the movie theatre at age 2 and never stopped!

She attended UCLA for vocal performance and continued her studies in San Francisco at San Francisco State University. She has continued her study of the voice and pedagogy further with Ruth Falcon in NYC and Dale Moore at the Eastman School of Music.

Linda is also an active voice teacher and coach in the Rochester, NY area with emphasis on the music theatre singer. Her students have gone on to further study at Oberlin, NYU, and Ithaca College, to name a few.
